Red Database is a high-end up-to-date open source DBMS.
The Red Database kernel is based on Firebird 2.0 - one of the best established, well-known and globally widespread open source DBMS in the world, which is used in solutions of various scale: from the built in hardware systems and solutions for small businesses to IT-systems of largest transnational corporations with databases up to tens of terabytes and tens of millions transactions per day.
Red Database 2.0 is most high-performance, reliable open source DBMS with one of the most up-to-date architectures. It features the following technical advantages:
