Red Soft Corporation is the vendor of information management solutions based on Open Source software. The company was founded in 2006 by a team of Russian specialists with over 10 years success track record in implementation of large projects consisting of development, deployment, and support of application software and systems software in Russia and worldwide. Our primary goal is to establish structure, development, and support for Open Source software, including commercial DBMS, data warehouse support systems, knowledge management systems.

Products

We supply comprehensive solutions for data storage and management based on our own product - Red Database, which is the distribution of Open Source Firebird  DBMS meeting international industry standards of quality, reliability, and security. Our product line includes related application solutions - Red Warehouse and Red Control.

Red Database and solutions developed based on this technological stack ensure different levels of information protection. They can be certified against requirements of regulating authorities and ensure appropriate transparency and security levels. Our business plans for development of Red Soft's Red Warehouse include certification by Federal Service for Technical and Export Control to meet the requirements on protection of information from unauthorized access for automated systems of Class 1Г (Rus) and personal data protection, set forth in relevant Guidelines.  In years 2008-2009 we advance database functionality with features corresponding to security Class 1В (Rus) and above.

Red Soft offers adaptive, comprehensive and modular solutions that not only resolve current industry-specific problems of our customers, but also minimize their further inputs into database development, maintenance and support and in general into IT support.

Our own development department constantly updates Red Warehouse and our other products, which allows us to deliver unique features and properties combined with simple usage and maintenance. We ensure also continuous, reliable on-line support for our product base.

Offshore programming

Offshore programming and Software development based on our core technology Red Warehouse is one of Red Soft's key areas of business.

We can offer a comprehensive turn-key solution and/or partial solution that implements tasks agreed on and approved before the work commencement. All our developments are primarily based on the Red Soft technological stack.

After-sales service, upgrade, and support

Red Soft offers a standard support scheme for 1 year based on a License Agreement. Customer Care specialists ensure after-sales support for all sold products. There are four levels of technical support:

• Basic – toll free e-mail support;
• Standard – e-mail support and hot line telephone support, with fixed response times;
• Advanced – oriented to application software developers using DBMS Red Database, assumes consulting regarding application software development based on Red Database and probable extensions of DBMS components and kernel to meet developer needs;
• Premium – oriented towards corporate customers. It assumes shorter response times to critical customer problems, resolving of highest-priority issues in the 24x7 mode;

We believe that our staff is our biggest internal value. Therefore we invest a great deal of our effort into identification, engaging and retaining best specialists: we train new ones, ensure advanced training of existing ones through joint programmes with educational institutions and internal training and proper development programmes. Hand in hand with this we are enlarging our external network of developers and partners.

Our main subdivisions include:

• Development Department – develops products in accordance with market demands and requirements, introduces innovations and know-how and applies industry standards of quality, reliability, modularity, info-exchange safety, security and others.
• Implementation Department – ensures that solutions are developed in accordance with customer requirements, needs and industry specifics and taking into account further customer development; delivers turn-key or partial implementations of solutions against international quality standards, tight deadlines and within budgeted cost.
  
• Customer Care Department – ensures quality control at the stage of solution development and implementation; trains personnel of customers; ensures continuous technical support of company products, warranty and post-warranty maintenance of products; delivers hot-line services.
• Business Development Department – target group activities, partner network promotion within the potential customer group, marketing support for bringing our products and our partners' solutions based on our products onto the market; PR support for Open-source Firebird and Red Database; arrangement of promotion for Red Database and our partners' solutions in public institutions and a wide range of industries.

Red Soft is establishing cooperation with hard- and software vendors worldwide, such as IBM, HP, Sun Microsystems, Kraftway. We jointly perform tests of our products on the vendors' solutions, thus ensuring their compatibility.

As an open source solutions vendor, Red Soft Corp. established strategic partnership with the Firebird community and related non-commercial organizations.
